Most of you know me as SafeMoonSpidey (previously) and now as @Defi_Spidey on X (previously known as Twitter) and I have been dabbling in crypto investing for over 3 years. I started with creating custom t-shirts for a local dance group and one of my friends suggested that I branch out to try new things. Now, I am slowly starting a crypto-inspired, boutique clothing brand and store.
Starting in Countries: USA
But, plan on adding Canada as soon as I can make sure I get the tax collecting correctly. Then, I plan on adding the UK and EU, once I can figure out the taxes and VAT. Once I am able to add those 3 markets to my business, I will see where else makes sense to add.
The idea behind this company: to create a community-driven, semi-customizable premium crypto clothing line.
What do I mean by "community driven" and "semi-customizable"? Well, if you follow @Defi_Spidey or @SpideyCouture on X (Twitter) and interact with the account, you can actually help design the shirts and vote on designs that you would like to see on shirts!
I am also going to be available for smaller projects to request for me to add their merch to their store, if they do not feel like handling all the details and carrying an inventory. Listing in my store will not cost money, but I will not be paying royalties either. This is just a way of adding additional marketing for your company/project.
WIIFM (What's in it for me (aka you))?
Wait a minute... I know what you're thinking; "Why would I want to help you design for your business?". Well, if your design gets chosen and printed on any of the Spidey Couture apparel (stickers not included), then you have a chance to earn a free shirt! That's right, once the design sells 5 units, you will get a chance to choose a free short sleeve shirt with the design of your choice! YES, that means that you can even purchase one (or more) of your own design and get any short sleeve design for free! Also, I will credit your Twitter and/or Instagram handle(s) on the website AND in all promotions!
How I want to the product offering to progress:
Stage 1 - Selling short sleeve shirts, long sleeve shirts, and tank tops
Stage 2 - Incorporate popular designs into sweaters and hoodies
Stage 3 - Add fashionable hats and beanies
Stage 4 - Add athletic wear: Sweat pants, leggings, Yoga pants, Sports Bras, and Swimwear (summer 2024, if I remain in business).
Stage 5 - Add polos and other embroidery items (?)
Stage 6 - TRY TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD!
Patience is a virtue
While world-wide sales are the end goal, site translation, money conversion, and collecting taxes are going to be a completely new game for me, so I just ask you to be patient as get everything fine tuned and add new products/markets to the store.
